感恩三宝加持，慧灯静修会正式在新加坡成立。
本会成立的宗旨：
一、推广佛教禅修的学习。
二、推动阅读佛教书籍，培养佛法正见的基础。
三、促进会员之间的互动交流。在佛道上，互相扶持，精进修行。
本会礼请来自马来西亚的继程法师及继持法师担任宗教顾问。两位法师都有丰富的禅修及教学经验。
继程法师为台湾法鼓山创办人圣严法师的传法弟子而继持法师则是继程法师所委任的静坐班讲师。
本会的理事都已向两位法师学习佛法多年，也积极参加法师在新马主持的禅修课程。本会部分理事亦是继程法师所创立的慧灯静修组（隶属马来西亚怡保观音堂）禅修师资成员。
本会成立是为了更好的推广佛教禅修，举办各类禅修课程以利益大众。2018年经继程法师同意，筹备委员会即开始筹备工作。感恩三宝加持，社团注册局于2019年6月18日批准，慧灯静修会正式成立。
Wisdom Light Meditation Society is a registered Society in Singapore, founded in June 2019. Our spiritual advisers are Chi Chern Fashi and Jichi Fashi from Malaysia. Both of them are experienced Chan meditation practitioners and teachers. Chi Chern Fashi is the Dharma Heir of the late Master Shengyan (from Dharma Drum Mountain, Taiwan) while Jichi Fashi is the meditation instructor appointed by Chi Chern Fashi. In order to better propagate Buddhist meditation in Singapore, the Society was set up to organise different kind of meditation classes and retreats to benefit everyone. Chi Chern Fashi kindly gave us the permission to start this work in 2018.
